WORLD’S SOLIDARITY FOR UKRAINIAN REFUGEES

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

Foundation’s Purposes:

  1. Organizing and providing assistance to people injured by warfare in the territory of Ukraine, who came to the territory of the Republic of Poland, in particular by providing assistance: living, educational and medical.
  2. Undertaking actions to become independent by people and families from Ukraine who need help and want to live on the territory of the Republic of Poland.
  3. Promotion and protection of human rights and freedoms and protection of family life; strengthening the respect for human rights and freedoms in society.
  4. Providing social assistance to satisfy necessary needs of individuals and families from territories affected by the negative effects of warfare.
  5. Activities for organizations whose goals are consistent with the activities of the Foundation.
  6. Assistance in assimilation and integration with Polish society for Ukrainian citizens.
  7. Activities to support freedom of speech and free media in Ukraine.
  8. Conducting educational activities to distribute knowledge about the armed conflict in Ukraine, especially among the societies of Western Europe countries and the United States.
  9. Establishment of the residential and adaptation center for Ukrainian citizens arriving on the territory of the Republic of Poland, enabling comprehensive provision of living, educational and medical needs. The goals of the center are: free support for refugees in adapting to Poland (by providing free accommodation, meals, advice and assistance of specialists in matters of legalizations of stay, administrative, housing, legal as well as employee rights and active support in finding employment on the territory of the Republic of Poland).
  10. Organizing free transport for refugees from Ukraine.
  11. Organizing humanitarian aid for Ukrainian citizens and transporting humanitarian aid to the zones affected by armed conflict.
  12. Psychological support for people after traumatic war experiences.
  13. Building and deepening ties between the nations: Polish and Ukrainian.
  14. Supporting the development of partnership: Ukraine – the European Union.
  15. Supporting the development of partnership: Ukraine – United States
  16. Supporting the development of partnership: Ukraine – Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Japan, Norway, Switzerland.
